Mentions légales

Please note: As a dealer of pre-owned goods, Club24seven applies a commercial warranty period of 1 year. Under Belgian consumer law (Art. 1649quater, Civil Code), the standard legal guarantee for second-hand goods is 2 years, which a seller may reduce to a minimum of 1 year provided this is clearly communicated at the time of sale. This policy constitutes that communication.

Every timepiece we offer has been personally selected, inspected, and verified before it reaches you. Our 1-year mechanical warranty is an extension of that discipline, not a formality.

What is covered

The warranty covers the mechanical movement and internal timekeeping components of the watch. If your timepiece stops running or performs irregularly due to a pre-existing or internal mechanical fault under normal use, we will arrange a repair at no cost to you through our trusted watchmaker or an approved service partner.

What is not covered

  • Water resistance or moisture-related damage
  • Theft, loss, or misplacement of the watch or any of its components
  • External damage: scratches, dents, impact, or wear resulting from normal use
  • Servicing, modifications, or repairs carried out by any party not approved by Club24seven
  • Damage resulting from improper use, accidents, or neglect
  • Any attempt to alter or misrepresent the authenticity of the watch

How to make a warranty claim

  1. Retain your original purchase invoice matching your name and the watch in question
  2. Contact us at info@club24seven.be as soon as the issue arises
  3. Do not have the watch serviced elsewhere before contacting us, as this may void your coverage

How repairs are handled

Depending on the situation, we will either handle the repair in full through our appointed watchmaker, or coordinate with a trusted local specialist and cover costs partially or fully based on prior written agreement.

For certain heritage brands including Cartier, Rolex, and Audemars Piguet, service must be carried out through an official brand service centre. In those cases:

  1. Bring the watch to an authorised service centre for diagnosis only
  2. Obtain a written estimate detailing the findings, parts to be replaced, and scope of work
  3. Share the estimate with us before authorising any work

We will only cover the invoice after written approval from Club24seven, and only if the invoice is issued in our name. If these conditions are not met, we reserve the right to decline payment. Club24seven bears no responsibility for damage, loss, or theft of the watch while it is in the care of a third-party service provider.

Limitations

  • The warranty period does not recommence following a covered repair. It is suspended during the repair and resumes upon the watch being returned to you.
  • In certain cases, a warranty extension may be offered at our discretion depending on the scope of work performed
  • If a repair is carried out by an unapproved third party without our prior written consent, the warranty becomes void
  • Outside the warranty period, the Belgian principle of hidden defects (Art. 1641 Civil Code) may still apply if you can demonstrate a defect was present at the time of purchase

Your legal rights

This commercial warranty exists alongside, and does not replace or limit, your rights under Belgian and European consumer law. If you believe a defect constitutes a lack of conformity under the legal guarantee, you retain all statutory remedies available to you.
