The Constellation Manhattan that commands a room without raising its voice.

That black dial behind four polished griffes has a presence most watches never achieve. Sharp, clean, and impossible to ignore on the wrist.

Those griffes are worth knowing. Designed by Carol Didisheim and patented in 1985, the four screwed claws extending over the dial at 3 and 9 o'clock became the defining feature of the Manhattan. They are not just aesthetic: they hold the sapphire crystal and gasket firmly against the case to ensure water resistance. Form following function, beautifully. On this generation, the Roman numerals sit directly on the crystal rather than the bezel, an early Manhattan detail that collectors specifically look for.

The integrated bracelet flows directly from the 33mm barrel-shaped steel case with not one sharp line on the entire piece, right down to the rounded case back. Quartz movement, date at 3. Very good condition throughout.

One of the most accessible ways into genuine vintage Omega, and a design that has never stopped making sense on the wrist.
